One of our all time favorite restaurant is Chai Galli. An unassuming simple food joint situated on the mezzanine floor in Besant Nagar. Based on the excellent reviews in Zomato, we went to this place. True to the reviews, it lived up to its reputation. It has both North Indian as well as Italian dishes to suit all age groups. They also serve healthy mixes if you don’t want to indulge in ghee and cheesy items. Ambiance wise, it looks rugged and rustic but the food when you have it there is really good. We have placed home delivery multiple times, but it’s better to have it piping hot at the restaurant. In the afternoon, it was not crowded, but I expect it to be a full house in the evenings with many beach goers thronging this place, especially young ones.
Our food choice normally revolves around Paratha, Tossed Channa, Veggies on a Khahkra and Pasta for the little one…don’t get fooled by the restaurant name….it has much more to offer for everyone in the family across age groups and it’s vegetarian. Awesome place for gourmets seeking hot yummy food.
