Clowns

Once you are a grown-up adult, you pass them by without giving them a second glance. But they bring enormous joy and lovely smiles to kids. In most cases, they are underpaid and often mocked in the real world when they remove their costume because of their height, shape, and size. While they cry internally, they make the children smile heartily. We do not understand how hard it is to make others smile. The fact of the matter is that we forget what it is like to smile. How many of us can tell a nice joke or evoke laughter amongst adults or children? We immerse ourselves in the world of mobile phones. We do not even care about what is happening around us. Even if you argue, they are donning these clothes to make a living, would you do the same? Dress up like a clown. It is hard and humiliating when others mock you. Yet they do not care, because they are bringing a smile to that lovely innocent face by defacing themselves. It is a great sacrifice whether for a living or otherwise. Because 99% of us cannot and would not do it for several reasons. Even if you cannot appreciate them, please do not disgrace them. It is the smile on the face of the child that brings a sense of self-esteem and worth to them as they bleed internally. It means something to some child at least…incidentally, today is India’s Independence Day. However, these clowns who make others smile and laugh, are still jailed in their mental and physical prisons. When will they have their independence?
