The unseen Queen

A queen who does not wear a crown, does not live in a palace or leads a royal life, yet she is the queen of our hearts. Now, who is the real Queen?

In quiet nondescript corners of our home, she resides,

An unadorned monarch veiled, her throne insides.

No scintillating scepter, ostentatious orb, or grandiose gown,

Yet all who meet her feel the weight of her crown.

Her unassuming realm extends beyond the unvarnished walls,

Where kindness blooms copiously and abject sorrow falls.

Her subjects? Family, Friends, and Every soul she meets,

Their myriad stories are etched in whispered beats.

She wears no ornate jewels, no silken lace,

But love and grace in abundance adorn her face.

Her opulent palace? A generous heart that opens wide,

Where empathy and hope bountifully to abide.

So, raise a sparkling toast to the Queen unseen,

Whose mellow but mature reign transcends the worldly scene.

She needs no fancy title, chimeral pomp, or sensational fame,

Her legacy is a doting family, lovely friends, a caring community, and a kindled flame.
