Always be honest to yourself first, to your conscience about what you do….listen to your inner voice and see if that accepts what you have done or what you are going to do as something appropriate, right and correct. If not, don’t do it. You be your own God…..and check yourself in the mirror or from a higher pedestal if you have done the right thing. If you notice a crack in the mirror or the pedestal broken, then it means you have done something wrong or not acceptable even to yourself….forget about others and society. In your own eyes, you are not deemed ethical, noble, upright and virtuous. Honor, integrity, morality, sincerity, loyalty, candor, fairness and trustworthiness are important attributes to be a good man….no matter the circumstance, even if life threatening, don’t ever give up…..and never settle for mediocrity….once you stoop down, whatever you do subsequently to rectify the same will not fetch you the same respect you once had….once you lose these virtues….you lose trust in the eyes of everyone and you can never ever reclaim it…however, hard you try….so don’t ever lose it in the first place….
