Discover tradition @ Mahamudra

If you are looking for an authentic South Indian cuisine that’s based on traditional dishes and method of cooking, then this is the place to be. Pure vegetarian and does not contain much spices so it’s palatable and ideal for the elderly folks in the family. Gramps & Kid in matching colors…pose too…old man is a bit grumpy though
Best place for me to bring my in laws, being traditional and orthodox they love this place. Happy and wonderful couple. Family comes first for them and us too….it’s all in the blood…blessed to have in laws like these who consider you as their own.
This place also has great ambiance filled with traditional hand made items (artifacts, handicrafts, decorative items) (which would obviously be expensive).
Bear in mind that this place is quite famous and people throng this place during weekends and holidays. You cannot do prior booking and it’s on first come first serve basis on weekends and holidays. So be prepared to wait, in case you arrive late and the seats are already taken.
When parents are around, tradition matters….also
when do you get to wear your new salwar suits….
Wife is happy when you take care of her needs (taking care of the in laws as much as you take care of your own parents) feeling is mutual, after all, isn’t it…

This was on 24th Oct 2015 when we went to Mylapore for Saree Shopping prior to Diwali…since this was nearby…we hopped in for a quick bite during lunch hour….
