My wife keeps asking me this question all the time, why do you bark all the time. Especially, when something is kept astray, not in their place, bathroom door is not closed properly etc…..etc….etc….you always find some mistake or the other in everything we do (includes our beloved Son) who is an absolute errant when it comes to managing and maintaining his stuff. She initially asked me whether I was in the army during my previous life and finally switched to army dog since I bark all the time. And so we laughed and left it at that.
During lunch hour, my son asked who is your favorite friend. My wife immediately jumped in and said that she is my best friend. He then asked who else other than Mom. I told him my favorite friend was Caesar my pet dog that came into my life when I was in college and parted ways after 12 years by the time I was scheduled to marry the love of my life.
Afternoon when I was at work, my son came into our room for some chitchat. As I was a bit annoyed, my wife stated, now I know why your Dad is always barking. Once Caesar left his mortal life his barking habits seeped into your Dad’s heart while his loving characteristics transcended into me. So I keep loving him and remain faithful to him like Caesar while he keeps barking at us all the time. I was astounded by her creativity, imagination and relate it simplistically to a normal household conversation.
She is unbelievable and matchless when it comes to speaking and creating concoctions out of nothing but makes it sound quite realistic and truthful. How forceful some woman can be…to make you believe as if it really happened….I guess even God’s would fail to be as convincing as the woman can be. That’s the power of speaking while for me it’s all about writing….how diametrically opposing characters attract each other and live on forever is a story in itself.
