Why do I want to write?

The immediate answer would be as follows. There is an uninterrupted flow of thought that does not hit a barrier. It flows in a seamless and endless manner as the river flows downstream without any obstructions.

At least as I write and pen my thoughts, there is no one to intrude and pass judgments as to whether they are appropriate or justified in any which way. It’s my own introspection of what I perceive of the external world, it’s actions, inactions and the way it is headed. And these opinions are unbridled as they can and should be until they are stated and recorded.

Yes, so long as it’s private, it remains free from verdicts as we are all free individuals with our own independent interpretations of every aspect of life, words spoken and unspoken, behaviors right or wrong and whether an act or outcome is moral or immoral, ethical or unethical. We are here to pass decrees. That is our birth right, I guess we would at least agree on that one point, unless you belong to the dictatorial category, where there is only one way and that is my way.

Yet, once the word is published, then you are bound to be critically analyzed, stripped bare and will be laid to rest only when you accede to the vast majority ruling that concurs or disagrees to your point of view. What used to happen within the four walls of the house is now exposed to the whole wide world in the form of social media. And is that good or bad?

Herein again, we opine, as we should. My thoughts on this, so long as we agree to disagree, we can live in a harmonious world. In that way, we do not infringe on the liberties of another independent soul that has a right of way in what they feel, express, do or commit in a particular situation.

Everyone is different in this world. They are unique in their thoughts, actions, reactions and inaction too. That is why Humans as a race are distinct from any other creation in this Universe. We cannot commit them to a standard modelling like robots to think (do they, I guess with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) and do in various instances.

When I saw the Social Dilemma program, I understood that the entire malaise is actually created by them by feeding us with various sources of information that indirectly changes our behavioral patterns. Is it right to blame them (AI /ML tools) for our inappropriate behavior as some or many perceive it, rather than owing up the responsibility upon us.

Sorry for the digression into Social media, my point was to establish the fact that WE are “Diverse” and that is how “God” if you believe and you can disagree, which is fine with me, created “US’.

I have been writing on and off for several years now, yet restrained myself from posting anything public, perhaps due to my own sense of privacy (it’s my life, my thoughts) and partly due to the scary thought of being scrutinized and dissected publicly which is a fearful thought, to be honest. So here I am, opening up in the form and method which I always found quite liberating as I had mentioned in the first couple of paragraphs. On a lighter note, none can be more honest, forthright and brutal than your own…..I am sure some of you can guess that right…I am just kidding….trying to escape the wrath…but alas…
