Day 1
Wedding is the greatest occasion in a family. It’s that once in a life time (typically) where almost everyone in the family and friends circle come together at once for this momentous celebration. Indian weddings bring the entire family together, even if you have differences, they typically shelve it for a while when marriage is around. It’s time to celebrate, partake in the joy, mirth and merriment. It’s a time to bury the differences and come alive in the brightest of colors and spirits both inside out. That’s what Indian weddings are all about, togetherness. That bonding, love and care for each other exhibits itself in a wholesome manner without any inhibitions. The images will speak, for themselves, untold volumes of underlying emotions that come out in an unfettered manner.
This time around it was Vidya’s பெரியப்பா (Dad’s elder brother’s) grandson getting married in Chennai. Being a close relative and closely knit family, everyone joined for the marriage with the exception of few folks from Mumbai. It is that time when you pick your best silk sarees from your wardrobe to look dazzling and beautiful.
Top left is Raghavan (My brother in law) with his sisters Vidya and Vaidehi….it’s always fun with your siblings when you rehash old memories….how naughty or silly you were while growing up….it’s those memories that remain forever as they are unblemished, simple and lovely.
Top right is Srihari (Kannan and Vaidehi’s son) with Anirud. Vaidehi is Vidya’s eldest sister, other one being Lakshmi and is married to Kannan (had to skip the wedding due to personal work) who incidentally is my mother in law’s brother.

It is reception time and so bring out the Kurtas and look irresistible and alluring to all those…
She would never go wrong when it comes to dressing up….she knows how to dress to kill…an expert with those ravishing looks….
Once in a while even you have to get in front of the camera….otherwise they will forget that you existed in this universe….so be there to register your attendance and then get back to work…to click the bait….in the most exquisite manner…that’s my specialty….
