Tee says Daddy’s little sidekick…..well…..to be honest, I don’t know if I actually ended up playing his sidekick as he dominated everyone’s mind space as a cuddly little boy…whether he is dressed up or not…..the boyish charm and innocence truly blows you away and along with it your woes troubling your mind….
These days Ani has a fascination for bags. Be it home or when we go outside. I don’t know the reason why. At home sometimes when the trolley bags are kept down, he would like to open up the trolley and stroll with the bag. This happens even when we go to malls where the bags are on display. He would pick up one and like to walk with the bag. Sometimes when we have the weekly Friday pujas, he picks up the ladies hand bags and tugs it alongside his shoulder. You can see even in the attached photo that he keeps his baby bag tugged to his shoulder. He is quite possessive about his bag. He makes quite a ruckus when his patti (grandma) keeps the bag. Either he pulls it away from her even if it is quite heavy or he asks one of us to hold the bag. Possessive feelings at such a young age, who teaches them that these are their own possessions and that these should not be shared with others. We don’t teach that, in fact nobody does, but still these kids sure know which their stuff is and which ones belong to the adults. It’s all a part of the growth and development of the child and as I write this, I get to understand the metamorphosis which the child undergoes in these early years. It’s an amazing journey as it is and I am sure there is more to come to enjoy, despair, and feel exhilarated about in the years to come.
