shade

It is the parents who provide the shade to their children until they are ready to step out and lead a life of their own. It’s applicable for both humans and animals. Why, because they need protection from the wild vagaries of life. Else, they will be nipped in the bud itself. They grow in an environment that is safe from all sorts of wrongs and evils. Despite their best efforts, some children do get affected physically or mentally in some form or the other. Imagine a case where they are left alone in this jungle of life. There are many such cases….all throughout this world. Where they are born into this world and castaway just like that…like a piece of crushed paper thrown into a toilet and flushed away. Even to think about that is quite heart wrenching for me. Forget about the fact that someone leaves their child uncared for, I don’t know how someone can even think about abandoning their own child. It’s unimaginable trauma for the child, even if they are taken in the custody of some home, it’s not really their home. They would miss the cuddling arms, smothering kisses, warm embraces, honeyed words and that personal care and attention…there is no substitute for a real mother and father….yet it happens…and some poor children are thrown in the streets…worse off than those in those child care homes…therefore children, appreciate the fact that your parents (though it is their duty) toil real hard whether at home or at work to provide you with all the means of sustenance, with love, with care so that you can lead a lovely life in the years to come on your own…cherish and treasure the moments your parents spent with you (and likewise for them)…as these are the most precious times in both lives of parents and children….simply invaluable….as rain or shine, they provide you with the shade…in unequivocal terms….that has no reservations….because it is all out of love.
