I see the image of a woman who is taking the cudgels to the battlefield to quell the patriarchal ills that plague women in the society. It has been that way since time immemorial as women have been brandished as bodies meant for carnal pleasures, accouchement, and caretaker of men their families.
It is just not the physical servitude but the mental vassalage that women undergo as part of this thraldom that makes them weak and subservient. It’s is beyond time for this serfdom to end. It’s time to put a stop to the servile nature to service mankind.
Break free; unshackle the chains that bind you in whatever shape and form of life that you are in. Be independent or have a life of coexistence where both are treated as equals in that partnership. The balance of scale should always be equal, if not more tilted towards the woman power as they have suffered for centuries under the bondage and control of men.
On a personal note, my spouse keeps telling me all the time, if there be a next life and there should be such a life where our roles have to be reversed. I should be born as Man and you as my wife. And you should do all that I have done for you in this life. Only then you would realize what I have been through. Does that make me a villain or that helotry exists in our home.
Neither should I say, as it’s the way of life that has caused this stress and a need to break out of the routines that make life seemingly miserable, menial and full of drudgery. It’s just a case of role reversal where one person believes that the other is truly having a wonderful and exciting time in what they do. Perhaps, I am oversimplifying the issue as the Womankind may feel and react. Justifiably so…and there is no end to it…especially the arguments with the other kind which you can never ever win. On the other hand, one does not realize, everyone is equally going through a hard grind at the other end of the story. A story that never seems to end for either one of them until they reach the destination, holding each other’s hands, telling each other, we share, care and love each other evermore than the day we first met.
