a Mediterranean twist

It was my turn now to take her to a place that was different from the usual North Indian, Asian or Italian cuisines that we opt for. It’s been a long time since we came from Kuwait that we have been searching for some authentic Mediterranean food. The thing is, when you live in that country, you don’t really enjoy or explore their food options, because it is available in plenty. It is like when you live near sea shore, you never go to the beach, because it is always there.
When you move farther away, the heart aches and pines for it….
why did I not discover the pleasures of life in full…Life is like that I guess
So after a due research for the available options in zomato, i found this place mezze, which ironically was quite close to my office in RA Puram. It was actually a house renovated and reconstructed into a mini restaurant. Because there were not many options and the fact that it was a house converted into a restaurant, it had only limited seats and gets filled in quickly be it a weekend or weekday. Since it was a weekday, I rushed back from office to pick up my family. Since this was a special day, She obviously had to look her best of the best…..with one of her new collections being rolled out for this lovely celebratory occasion.
We ordered the standard options that we usually try…since we had tried the various original options in Middle East, I would say, this was OK or decent enough but not great or outstanding as some of the reviews mentioned in zomato
Instead of cutting cake, eat the Baklava…Mommy dear is all so happy when the little one feeds her for a change
Time to bid good bye after an evening of togetherness…
So long as both of them are delighted….I am at peace
