Cognizant had arranged free tickets for employees and their families to have a fun day at MGM. MGM had been there for a very long time and I had never been to this resort play area as it was quite out of the way and far from where we had stayed earlier. Since, it was relatively nearby from Adyar (though I did not have a car at this point in time), we took a cab and went to this place as Anirud would immensely enjoy such places. In Kuwait it was all indoors and now that we are back in India, it would give him an opportunity to explore such activities in an outdoor environment. Things may not be as sophisticated and advanced as in Kuwait, yet, we need to adapt to the current living environment and move on with life. So we started around 9 AM or so to reach this place early as it would take at least more than half a day to explore all the fun activities. Also, since the tickets were freely issues for CTS employees, we expected quite a crowd and hence it would take some amount of waiting time for all rides and complete all activities. We all had a good time as even the climate was pleasant and some kind of recreational activity as a family….and mainly it revolved around Anirud. Moreover, as soon as I joined I had to travel to Germany on official work and I could not be there for Vidya’s birthday (first time after marriage) and so I tried to make up for it in as many ways as possible.

OK, time to say goodbye to MGM…my head is all dizzy after going through these rides…I need to catch up with some good nap and rest
