It was another weekend and Ramakumar had asked if we were ready to come for Suriya’s new flick Singam. I said yes and he booked the tickets online for the night show. Though we were worried if Anirud would stay put through the movie, we had to take chances and Mother in law was also there and she definitely needed some change. We left from our home at around 8.30 PM to Ajiyal complex in Fahaheel. It’s about ½ hour drive (40 kms approximately) from Salmiya. We reached there by 9 AM and were waiting for Ram to come and he came just in time as usual. Most of the 4SA group members were there for the movie.
It was an all out action packed entertainer and to our disbelief, the kid was engrossed in the movie. Towards the end he fell asleep, otherwise he watched the movie without blinking an eyelid, sounds exaggerated. This movie was no brain tickler but double value for money as each and every scene was power packed. Next day Vidya felt the after effects of this movie as he started punching her. Also he started uttering the dialogue “Singam pola strength enakku”, meaning I have the power of a lion. Is this a sign of a kid becoming addicted to movies? I don’t know, but what I know for sure is that he has started watching serials along with his Mom and Patti at home.

Here is a snapshot of the fun moments of the day….starting anticlockwise from top left…
Open the door or I am going to smash my way through….here comes the lion majestically….hey paati (grandma)….let’s have some fun…I am really surprised now….does my dad knows to kiss and love….ok there you go…slapping your chubby cheeks….it’s nice to see your smiling face for a change….and oh…how can you miss mommy dear in her sparkling best…
