Another Friday weekend evening and we got ready to go out. Ani got ready in striped green and white tee grey corduroy. As I was trying to take his pictures he started playing with his potty training duck which he started using as cycle. I remember when his mom bought that for about 3 ½ KD to train him on potty about a year back, he never used to sit on it and was scared. Rather he loved to play with it, whenever we used to make him sit and move him around like a cycle. Some contraptions work in a different way than they are intended for. And in our case the potty became the little boy’s cycle or car or whichever thing he might have thought of in his mind other than to use it as a potty. These days he sits in the closet as soon as he gets up in the morning with his mother sitting in front of him. He would sit in brush his teeth, say something to his mother and then complete the morning duties regularly. Credit goes to both Mom and Son…for getting this act together which is an important change management technique in a child’s development.
