It was time for 4SA’s get together at our home. Yes, our little angel Anirud completed 4 months and had returned to Kuwait in July. In September Vidya’s parents also joined us in Kuwait. Between June and August all families go on vacation during school holidays. Also our best family friend had gone to US and returned only a week back. He bought for us a Sony Handy-cam which came into extensive usage thereafter. However, the opening ceremony was on 4th Oct 2008. It was time to have a celebration with 4SA family.
We had organized food from Green land, a vegetarian restaurant in City and invited all our friends to come to our house.
Balu and Kalpana were the first to come. We were all in our traditional outfits. Ladies in Saris and Gents in Dhotis, both Dads’ were in full white Kurta and Dhoti while I wore a black Kurta over a white Dhoti. Both Moms’ were in different shades of green saris, Kalpana also wore another shade of green sari. Vidya wore the Sari which I bought in Chennai for our first wedding anniversary.
One by one our friends started coming after 12 noon for lunch get together. The group breaks down into the following segments – gents, ladies and the kids. Each one would have their own agenda and scheme of things to be discussed. And so we all had a good time, fun and frolic with sumptuous lunch from Green land which was liked by all.
