Darling, Tomorrow (12th June 2008) we would have a cause for celebration. Our sweet little child would be one month old or is it one month young as some say it. Can you believe it? It’s going to be one month since you delivered him. It all seems like yesterday to me. Days fly.
We have never lived apart in all these years, yet now for our child we have come to adjust ourselves to staying alone and get along with our day to day life. Sacrifice for the kid has started even before he was born. Perhaps, this is what family life is all about. Distance may separate us, but none can separate our love for each other.
Our phone conversations revolve around him, in short he has become our world and as the planets circle the sun, we circle around him. That’s the way life goes. You also realize at this juncture how much you have parents have taken care of you, how much they have sacrificed to see you the way you are today. It’s time, you take care of them, just as much you would want to take care of your own baby. Make them feel that you are there for them, at this age, because they become like children as they grow old. You grow young. It’s time you brought smiles to the wrinkled faces and what better happiness can you derive than seeing the smiles of your parents and that of your child together.
Life, indeed, is beautiful and God is the greatest creator of all. I thank thee lord for whatever you have given me to this date. I thank most of all for giving me a wonderful family, a reason to look forward for coming home. It’s not just a home, it’s an abode of love.
Now, I am just waiting for 12th of July 08, the day you folks would join me in Kuwait.
